Sydney Skies
through Shaders
An experiment with light, motion, and mood, trying to recreate the quiet drama of a changing sky. After moving to Sydney, where the weather is wildly unpredictable, the sky started to feel more rare. I come from a place with low-lying houses where the sky was always present. Here, between tall buildings and fast routines, it didn't feel so accessible. This project became my way of bringing it back.
Built using GLSL and inspired by The Book of Shaders, I created a generative system of drifting clouds and shifting gradients moving through sunset, twilight, and early morning. No two moments look the same, and that impermanence became the point.
